Purna Power!!!!!!

No more pukies so far for Purna pie. The last time
was yesterday at six. So far I think were in the clear with that. She has been nursing pretty good we are just taking it slow. She has not been intrested in food really just a few bits of apple sauce. She did not sleep super well last night she just wanted to be held. So Joe did holding duty tell about 5 ish and pasted the torch to me. I held and nursed her tell she woke up about 9 ish. The morning and afternoon have been going great. Another diaper blow out this morning.

Well all you Purna followers she has big news for you.... Purna is headed home right now as of 4 o'clock!!! But not without a puke in the hallway and as soon as she got in the car seat. So she still feeling sickie but well enough to go home and finish healing. Let's just hope her pain meds stay down this evening and tonight. She been doing pretty good today just alot of sleeping and now pukies.

I find it very amazing takeing this car ride in the oppsite direction 4 days again crying the whole way wondering how the next week would unfold that she would be coming home so soon. I wish our furture self could console our present self and hold our own hand threw an experance like this. As parents we would do anything and I mean anything not to see our children in this kind of pain. I would not wish this on my worst enemy. I'm kinda at a loss of words with how I feel with my baby girl all better. I looked at her eveyday for the last seven months dreading this week. With it behind me know I feel, free I guess. The unknown is enough to make you crazy. She still has quite a bit of healing to do but the worst is behind her. She can move on to the important things in her life know, like what is going to be her 4th word and learnig were her belly button is.

She is a amazing strong little girl and I have a feeling she is going to be for the rest of her long non flat forhead life.

As Purna heals at home I hope all you will contuine to check up on her and keep your though and prayers going. I will keep her post going intell she is a good as new and we an all sleep know baby Purna has come out of this challenging experance strong healthy and ready to show the WORLD who's boss.

  3. Crying... you really are so good, Hoho, at expressing how you feel. I thought about that yesterday, that it must be the greatest relief ever for all of you to have this done with. You both look so tired... Hope you'll be able to get some more rest with all the family around to help. Looking forward to seeing you. xoxo

What an amazing journey this has been, you just don't know how wonderful it has been to log into this blog each day and watch the progression, I am so relieved that your baby girl is on her road to recovery and this is all behind you. I do know how you feel, when my son lost his leg I was so terrified for him and felt so helpless, and as you know now he has overcome this and is such an inspiration to all of us...So my hat's off to you and I look forward to seeing you guys when you get back home........Take care and get some rest.
    Love you guys.
