  4. What a beautiful collection of photos. Your blog will be so helpful for mothers and fathers who have to embark on the same journey that you, Joe and Purna endured. You were so open and honest about your feelings, fears and hopes.

I know as a mother, your story and Purna's success would give me comfort as I had to step into the unknown. Please share this gift with the doctors and hospitals so that they may pass it on to the families of future patients.

I can't wait to hold Purna and give her big hugs and kisses when you get home.

    Love, Elena

  6. I am so happy for you guys that everything went so smoothly. You have a beautiful baby girl. It's amazing how resiliant children are. Every day I learn so much about their raw strength and drive and love. Purna is so fortunate to have you two as parents. Way to hang in there Mommy and Daddy, that emotional roller coaster is one hell of a ride. Wishing you guys the best. Thanks for all the updates I enjoyed reading them.

  8. What has only been 17 days of routine work, fun & sun in Red Bluff has been an arduous journey for you, Joe, little Purna and your whole family. We have all been through the myriad of emotions with you and have rejoiced as Purna progressed to recovery each day. You are a most exceptional mother and father and I suppose that is because you both come from most exceptional, loving and supportive families. We can't wait to see you! Have a safe trip home!!
